Welcome to Agnew model products

The Banshee 2M has unexpectedly become the first kit of a series time-honored, contest proven designs.  It was my first kit produced in the early 90's and is still popular and sought after design with a strong following of faithful enthusiasts and those looking for a forgiving ship capable of allowing pilots to move progressively up the learning curve in the art of soaring.  In the hands of a pilot ready to pursue the demands of competition the Banshee is a very capable ship.  It served me well for many years and I was pleasantly surprised and reminded of this once the new prototype was finished.  Those familiar with the original kit will find a few tweaks including a triple tapered and pre-routed servo pockets. as well as improved accessories.  The sleek and narrow nose greatly benefits from today's smaller servos and rx's.  A custom rx battery is now available to fit snuggly into the nose and allowing the servos to be moved forward and substantially reducing need balancing with additional nose weight.

Some things haven't changed.  The E387 still holds its own and provides a very large and forgiving flight envelope.  Flying it to it's potential rewards the pilot with remarkable performance and the ability to carry ballast in strong winds or for those looking for some kicks on a slope.  Reminded of the  E387's potential has actually motivated me to experiment with it for designs that may become available in the future.  It would be especially interesting to see how it performs in a thinner section following the trends we are currently used with today's ultra light DHL designs.

Fitting and final finishing remains the same providing the builder with a sense of pride rarely found in a market saturated with pre-molded finished RTF products.

As always I will be readily available to guide the builder through any stages of the building process.

Latest information as of June 15, 2008:

I am in the process of prepping the new P-4 plug for a new mold.  My first pulled fuse will be used for an RES design and I will be providing fuses for customers that have expressed a need for fuses for projects of their own.  P-4 kits will have CNC cut cores and will be available on a very limited basis.  I cannot commit to any further details as far as availability of the P-4 kit and prices.

The Sky hawk is also undergoing changes.  New molds and lighter/stronger fuselage.  A much simpler planform will be used.  CNC cut cores for both the wings and stabs.  Changes will result in a much more competitive design for TD competitions and the rigors involved. Again I cannot commit ton any further details as far as when the kit will be available and the final pricing.

Once you are on the waiting list and your kit is complete I will contact you for payment options and shipping information
